Hi all, I’ve been invited to attend the BTCC at Brands Hatch tomorrow. I know that at other circuits around the world there are often problems with security at the car parks - e.g. God forbid you park a Ford in the Holden area at Bathurst.

Are there any such concerns in the U.K. and specifically at Brands, or would you park anything in the car park regardless of value?

Thanks!

It's been some years since I last went but Brands Hatch was one of my least worrying for parking while watching a race...Things may have changed but IIRC there used to be a few entrances, one would involve parking outside of the circuit whereas another took you infield where you could park near the track, in fact you could watch the race from your car is the weather was bad along the 'southbank', this may have been accessible via the main entrance. As I said it's been a while and things may have changed, however I loved going to Brands Hatch, it's my favourite UK circuit...smile

Last time we went to Brands was for the 2012 Olympics cycling. No problems with the parking. Before that I regularly used to go to Brands. Great circuit. I have walked it, (I was a marshall once). The walk up to Druids hairpin is surprisingly steep.

It's one thing that I have never heard of at British Race Circuits , probably because the entrance fee alone deters the scum class and the majority of the car parks at regular meetings are within the circuit fences .

Only dangers are from door dings and getting stuck in the mud.

Visited many times for many different race series, track days etc in all sorts of metal and never once had or saw any problems.
