North Coast 500 - August 2018

Sitting here, watching LeMans from abroad (and regretting not going),whilst contemplating the fact that my first child arrives at the end of September, I've decided to do the NC500 asap.

I have a short window in mid-august and wondered two things:

1) has anybody done it at this time of year?
2) Is anybody interested in coming along?

I'll be looking to bring a couple of mates etc but convoys are always more fun...

I did the NC500 in August last year and met up with a couple of PHers. Had a fantastic trip - 2,000 miles + in about 5/6 days. Highly recommended. Here's the link https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=16...

I'd love to do it again sometime, but not this year. I'm planning a road trip around Ireland in August - South coast.
