As we were passing today we decided to stop and take some pics. Not the usual Porsche or Tvr pics but what the hell we are in a motorhome.

A Roadtrip is a Roadtrip and doesn’t need a ‘special vehicle’.

The best Roadtrip I have ever done was in a 1.2 TDI Seat Ibiza with the TVR in the garage at home.

Enjoy. That place is a bit special.

I've stopped there a few times over the years. If you go again, take a drive past and you can trace the route of the old circuit and still see some of the old concrete road furniture from the track.

There is a local police station nearby, apparently getting tired of idiots driving too fast on the actual road and also nicking cars parked outside of the white line.

We went there last year with around 10 British cars on a road trip and the organiser said he'd actually spoken to the police the year before and they seemed tolerant of a nice loud blast past the pits themselves but not excessive speed before or after.

There was a right dick in a RS6 who pulled out of the front of the stands flew down to the roundabout and belted back past the stands as his mates filmed him. At a guess he was well over 100. Didn’t try and repeat it in the motorhome 😀
