A big thank you
Discussion
I attended my first Vmax today and I don't think i could have wished for a better experience
, glad I didn't put my Honda shopping trolley on there though...
First off I need to say thank you to Muncher for letting me tag along as a passenger and for the runs out in the VX, A proper GO KART is that
Thanks must also go to the kind people who also took me out for a quick lap
Yellow TVR, what can I say.....the thing is nothing short of violent in both acceleration and braking.
M3csl, great car carbon bits everywhere, launch control....very trick !
360 fezza......awesome 175mph never felt so good
Daz's x50.....words fail me !!! fastest run I had all day at 186mph
The best quote of the day was also from Daz when I climbed into his porka
" There's a grab handle there, you might want to use it when we get down there"
You weren't fookin kiddin either, the traction that thing has defies physics.
Lastly, I'd like to thank everyone else there for making it such a great day.
anyone else suffered sunburn?

No problems Brian, was nice to meet you after all this time!
Really good day, I'll say it again, the best so far in my opinion.
Thanks to craig and Greg for organising it and for everyone who made it such fun. Brilliant spirit there today, great to chat to everyone. Quite frankly I'd still have had a great time if people were driving Ladas rather than Ferraris there.

Yet another top day: very many thanks are due to Craig, Greg and co. for their efforts.
Organising the weather in addition was a masterstroke.
Thanks are due to so many who came along with their fantastic cars and were generous in their giving of both passenger rides and right foot anvil application.
A special mention to Jason as well for bringing the GT - Car of the Day in my book. I'd be interested in the fuel consumption stats for the day ....

Agree the GT was car of the day for me too - Don't think i have ever seen anyone do so many laps and give so many rides - an astonishing car, especially to keep going so long in the heat. Even the porkers were having to take a break yesterday
Cheers to craig and all the boys for organising another great day.
Rich
A fabulous day.
Thank you to all drivers and passengers for making it so special. It was one of the greats.
Thanks to Plotters for sterling efforts at the breakfast bar early in the morning, and also to Podie and Rude Girl for waiting services.
Thanks to those that took either me, Susie or Tom out for runs. Car of the day for me was the GT, and that rather nice Jaguar that showed up
- amazing to see just about everyone flock round to have a look at it....
The SL performed well, 153 with the roof down, well happy with that.
The convoy up from my place was incredible, particularly Derestrictors mental acceleration up the outside lane of the M1 up to a steady 70mph.....left us in the SL like we were stood still....
Brilliant....so many memories of a special day.
Like others have said, can't wait to see the photos.

Excellent choice of Tow car as well Greg
LOL, thanks mate. Car of all seasons - even managed to squeeze Rude Girl in the back to take her home to pick up her spare keys. I'm sure her legs will grow back. Maybe. Hopefully.
Happy to help, as always. What happened to the car, Justin? It was going like the clappers all day?

Fried the coil in the heat then on the next run heading for the bottom bend at 120 it just cut out - dead, restarted it but the AA guy said as soon as it gets hot again it would die - Towed it home as i didnt fancy getting stuck on the M1 !!
I left a lot of No 11's all day didnt i

Our 2nd Vamx and what a day. I remember the 1st being fantstic but this one was above and beyond "having a good time". Hats off to Craig and the guys!
Had one off
(no damage) and on the last run my bonnet lifted (broke the locks) at 165.
Forgive the quality, here is a pic from my mobile phone.
