Steve,

Where were you standing for the fast run-by's ? Actually on the runway or just zoomed in?

No zoom, just big cahoona's . Seriously though, you'll remember the big red and white bollards about ½ down the runway, used as a filter lane for another piece of tarmac. It extends on to the runway by about 25-25 metres. Well I was standing behind those, at the edge.

Some cars had a surprise as the came over the horizon and saw them (must have missed them on the familiarisation lap), most notably the Ultima, who started off heading right at me (cue BTM), only to move over. Fun and scary at the same time, but always mostly safe too.

Excellent video - well done!

I got 96k/sec, however, that's from work and that's very good for our connection!

Some great shots from the side of the runway especially, and down at the corner - bravo to you for camping out down there!

Thanks
Tony
