Anyone planning to head out to the phoenix on New Year’s Day to a classics meet?
Not been before but it is happening.

I couldn't find anything either, but I know it isn't organised by the Phoenix Inn.

Someone on another forum seemed to think it was on from 08.00 to 15.00. As it isn't too far away I'll probably drop by anyway.

I phoned the pub today and was told it’s sill on, young sounding guy on the phone told me cars start arriving at 6 lol , maybe in summer but not on New Year’s Day in the pitch black surely. Anyway I’m going down about 9ish, guy said breakfast tools served from about 10.

Even more cars there than usual.

I can well believe some cars get there at 6am.

Lovely mild weather too. Although it is raining now I am back home.

Always a great mix of cars and people.

I arrived about 09:45 and it was well attended, fortunatately I found a spare piece of verge on which to park. A nice day for it.

Is there a way to know what meets are on which day at the pub, I can't find a list anywhere.

As annoying as Adam c is, the meet looked great..
