well you should all recognise the first two.. ;)
and the second two are from 3/4 of the way up, and the top of, Col de la Bonnette... recommended to us by some pistonheaders a while ago. (Thankyou btw.. well worth the detour!!)
Some awesome driving was had... most notably, the D900 which runs from the bottom of Gap (at the RN85 Rte Napolean) east to the col de la bonnette, the road running north out of the top of Draguignan(sp?), the N75 from Castellane up to Grenaoble (great alternative to the over crowded Rte Napolean), and of course the Rte Napolean itself....
many thanks to all those that had suggested various bits of road.
Oh.. not sure if they're on here.. but a whole bunch of very noisy GB elises went past while we were stopped at the old Reims pits (although none of the miserable sods waved!;))
so.. if you're down in that part of france, get to those roads.. very much worth the effort!!

ahhhh yes we were there last week....good to see they look to be painting up the grandstands at last and have a "suggestions box" for you to put ideas in.
the pits were quite weird... re-painted and very smart front, and freshly planted flowers in concrete walls round the back... quite odd.
