I wondered if any other PH'ers are going.

I have been invited for the first time - Many thanks to Simon Furlonger Cars.

I haven't been before, is there anything I need to know, anything specific to look at. My tickets are for Thursday and include hospitality. I think the dress code is what they call "Formal Garden Party"

I am a pleb so formal garden parties are not on my regular agenda.

We are going Saturday, parking in the General Supercar paddock. Looking forward to it as something different

I will be there on Saturday - our son has his Alfa on the club stand so we can enjoy the rest of the event.

To me seems a lot of money to just park up ones car and display in a static event all be in in a stunning location. Redgister for free to go to a goodwood breakfast supercar club and I'd figure one would see just as much high end machinery on show.

I quite fancy going to see this one year, just as a spectator, but I didn't know there was a dress code!

Dress code may vary on different days. There was not a single pair of jeans in sight. Ladies generally in summer dresses and guys in Chino's shirt and jacket. Quite a few with ties on too.

I think the range of cars at Salon Prive is not like any other supercar event I have been too, including the Goodwood breakfast.

There were 1 of 1 super cars and hyper cars, many stunning classics, as you walk in you are greeted by 3 x 250 GTO's, there were 2 288 GTO's, a stunning classic Bentley with self opening doors, Jag X15, a beautiful Bugatti, a wild looking Ginetta road car etc etc

The car park was like goodyear breakfast club, it had the normal supercars like the Senna I parked close to and a stunning 430 Scuderia in a dark orange colour and which overtook me on the way home.

We were fortunate and had hospitality - great food unlimited drinks incl champagne, that was expensive, however the regular ticket isn't too bad in terms of value

Some pics. The last one is a Ferrari that you pretty much guaranteed not to see at a supercar meeting.

So much effort had gone into the prep of the cars its amazing. The guy that prepped the Bentley class winner chatted to us, he was very proud (and rightly so) of his work. 100 year old cars with not a spec of dust even though they are used (obviously not all of them do many miles)..

People opened the cars for us to see inside, invited us to sit in them etc

My wife, was however more taken by the helicopters, the champagne and a particular desert.

Yes agreed, nothing like Goodwood Breakfast Club at all. Some real rare exotica there that I’ve never seen at any other car events.

Enjoyed that, really good and cars there I've not seen before. McLaren offering test drives on the 750S, which one of us took up.

And of course, the 3 mile drive around the estate on the way in

I was there yesterday.

Was utterly car blind inside 30 minutes - just a ridiculous selection. Favourites have to be the EB110 and the F1 GTR.

Maybe PH would like to know that a car they have showed in the NEC show was called up on stage and, welllll…..
