Lotus Carlton 35th Birthday Celebrations at Hethel - Aug 25

Hi there,

I was fortunate enough to attend the 35th Birthday Celebration event for the Vauxhall Lotus Carlton / Opel Omega held at the Lotus factory in Hethel a few weeks ago.

55 cars gathered from across the UK and Europe and the owners were joined by Lotus staff past and present including many of the original project team with designers. chassis specialists, power train engineers and even the ex CEO Mike Kimberley taking part in some panel talks and sharing memories with the owners of the cars that had assembled.

It was a superb event and as a huge fan of these iconic cars a very special event to be part of.
