Great British Car Journey Sunday Service | 15/11

Join us in Derbyshire for a nostalgia-fuelled Sunday Service

Following our amazing turnout at Brooklands, it’s already time to look ahead to our next Sunday Service. On Sunday 15th November, we’re heading up to the Great British Car Journey.

As winter rolls in, we’re well aware that the weather becomes a little hit-and-miss, shall we say? Hence, we usually turn to venues with an indoor element to make sure we can keep offering great events regardless of what the clouds are doing.

If you haven’t visited the GBCJ before, you’re in for a proper treat. Opened in 2021 in Ambergate, Derbyshire, the museum is an absolute treasure trove of our motoring history. It tells the story of British engineering from the '20s to the modern era, boasting a brilliant collection of over 150 iconic cars. It's the perfect place to indulge in a bit of nostalgia - you'll find everything from a humble Austin Seven and the classic Morris Minor, right through to one of the last cars to ever roll off the Longbridge production line.

The Sunday Service itself will run from 10:00 until 13:00. We've sorted an exclusive discount for you all, giving you 20% off standard admission and granting you full access to explore the museum at your own pace for the rest of the day. Additionally, your ticket acts as a contribution towards the museum shop and cafe - you’ll receive three £5.00 vouchers to redeem against a hearty breakfast, a memento from the day in the museum shop or towards a future Drive Dad’s Car experience. Please note, these vouchers are only available with pre-booked tickets, so make sure to click here to book your place.

Of course, we’ll be there with the PH pop-up. We’ll also be joined by the team from Ice Drive Sweden, who are bringing along a couple of their specially modified winter weapons to show off. Because we are keeping the numbers a bit tighter for this one, it’s going to be a fantastic opportunity to grab a coffee, have a proper catch-up, and pore over whatever eclectic metal the community brings along.

Tickets for this event are only available through the Great British Car Journey website and are limited to just 200 cars. We look forward to seeing you in Derbyshire!

Looking forward to this one, love that you can book to drive a classic car too. Might have to book an Austin 7 – have fancied one for years so would be great to see what they're like!
