I'm travelling down on the Sunday morning from J27 M6. Probably leaving from home around 07:00 as i recall from the last event that it only took just under 2 hours to run the length of the M6 to Brunters, with a stop off for a full tank of Optimax at the last services on the M6 (think it's around J2).

If you're coming from Manchester, i assume you'll be heading over to the M6 via the M62 or M56. Can meet you at Knutsford or Sandbach if that works for you?

I rather think you mean 'oop Nofaah,' to coin eelish vernacular.

The great thing about Vmax is the opportunity to mix some truly profane velocities with a spot of early morning cat burglary, a quite irresistable combination.

Of course, you may well already achieve Vmax en route, depending entirely upon the extent of your apetite for mildly grilled rattatouie au baguette, a culinary penchant which exists soley as a prerequisite for entry to the hallowed ground.

I'll be waltzing on to the M6 at J20. I reckon I'll be leaving the M56 for the M6 at around 7:30.

Is this leaving it a bit late?

Also, which route are you guys planning on taking? I was just planning on following my TomTom GPS unit.

Got it saved in my Sat-Nav from last time & it took me straight their with no problems & in just under 2 hours from J27

If you're getting on the M6 at J20 then why don't we arrange to have a Northern Vmax attendees meet up & hoon down from say Knutsford Services, meeting their at 07:30. That will give us sufficient time to arrive for 09:00

Does the Knutsford Services have a Shell garage?

If so, sounds like a good plan

I would be coming from oop Nofaah but my old dears live the other side of Leicester so I'll travel to them on Saturday which means I won't have to get up so early on Sunday morning.

No it doesn't.

The only 2 service stations heading south on the M6 with Shell are Keele which is around J14 or 15 & the furthest South on the M6 which is around J2. I'll be topping off at the last one on the M6, as it's only then about 15miles to Brunters so i'll be starting the day with a full tank (will need a full re-fill at the same garage heading home as well.

It appears so.

It may be better this way simply because we're less likely to get noticed by

Derestrictor - are you not joining us?

The Yorkshire V Max convoy is running a covert operation off the board, just in case any 'ahem' undesirable's are watching the board

Clever!

We've taken it to the next level and are playing a game of smoke and mirrors. We've agreed that if we see any rozzers in our mirrors one of us is going to slam it into 1st gear, leading to a pile of smoke, and a getaway for the others.
