Whilst the Porsche 996 Turbo is 4wd, the Ruf RTurbo can be either 4wd or 2wd (standard is 4wd, 2wd is extra).

Adams car is the 550bhp 4WD version. I think the brakes were an upgrade over the standard R Turbo spec.

Yep 2wd is indeed an option, but not one you should take if your mum drives the car regurlarly...

We have the Brembo Slotted GTR Brakes (the ones that rattle when they are cold)

I am not sure about the next Vmax, we are actually moving to Germany (munich) and i am driving the r turbo over in 2 weeks time.

I think the next time the r turbo comes to a vmax would be with an "upgrade"...I wish

all the best

Well Adam, hope you have a great time.Have you lived in germany before? Now,regards 911,, I understand 9FF do a engine converstion, which Will head off GuyR`s attentions , Or failing that, swop it in for SL 65,which your mother will much prefer. Then, pop over the border and see Mr kleemann, get the latest `I Don`t Belive It BHP converstion, which, will do the same job. Regards Mark.
