3rd attempt to find the correct home for this request...

Is anyone else coming in from the west i.e. M4/M3?
I'll be coming in from Wokingham and fancy meeting up with others for the drive in, partly for the company and partly because I have no navigator and no sense of direction...
(I'll also have a spare seat...)

Yes will be up for a run in. A couple of us have met before in the Shell at Taplow and also another time at the Petrol Station near to J8/9 of the M4 (think it's an Esso), the latter is maybe easier as quick hop back on and off the M4 if you are coming from the west of there. This any good for you. Reckon about 10ish to give an hour to get in which should be plenty.

Junction 8/9 at 10pm sounds like the best option.
It looks like I might have a passenger now so I have a map reader and photographer

The other stalwart I usually travel in with is skiing so he is certainly not coming. I think I saw some others from Reading area on the list but not sure which ones now as was a while ago. Anyway this will give the thread a little bump and see if we get anyone other interest. Will PM you my mobile in minute via the email link in your profile, if you can send me yours (assuming you have a mobile) in return then at least we can reach each other on the night in case of last minute hiccup etc.

There's possibly a few more who might meet at the Maidenhead Esso station at 10:00.

Me in my Alfa and a few others who haven't yet registered (RS4, AC Cobra (if it's not raining).

Cool, more the merrier. I will be there (probably in my Silver Chimaera as Cerb still not quite sorted) from about 21.45. If we plan to be leaving at 10pm then we have a full hour to get in, don't want to be too late as imagine parking will get quite tight!!

knowing the road (emabankment) I'd say parking anywhere near the t hut will be impossible (think Harrods sales overnight queues).......................think I might set off now with a sleeping bag!!!!!!!!!!

WVM - I might have as well but probrably won't know the final who's sitting where until the evening..........as a suggestion why not get to the Esso Garage for about 21:45 anyway and then we can all see what seats are available?

Just thought I would summarise as we have ourselves a little convoy now ... For those that don't know it, the garage sits on the southbound bit of a small dual carriageway. If coming out of Maidenhead then you are fine, but if coming off of the M4 or from that direction then you will need to effectively drive past it heading North and then turn right a bit further up (not far, like 100-200 metres I think) to come back down to it on the Southbound.
