Guys,

This run is huge, at the moment we have 120+ cars and as such is likely to attract the attention of the BIB, it has !!

This and the fact we have a lot of newbies attending i'm asking you all to just behave on the run.

I've been asked to supply a copy of the run to the MET so expect a Police presence on the night, not just at the meet up point, it will be very low key, as we dont want any major involvement from the MET, do we !!

As many of you are aware Lambo Cop will be on duty, in a professional capacity. I.E, if your stupid, you deserve to get nicked, so please do not put him in that situation....

Lets have a good one, with no incidents and enjoy a good "Midnight Tunnel Run" (the Original and still the best)

Glad you've said it guys, I'm a little concerned at the numbers (although many will drop-off)!

Also, the fact that this amount of transport will take some time to get moving across the bridge for the first right-turn (I estimate maybe 45 minutes!) so I'm going south and left at the roundabout, past the Dog's home (remembering not to wake them up, of course!), along to Vauxhall Cross and recrossing at one of the bridges to rejoin the group before Parliament Square - feel free to join me

SAFE is FUN!

Firstly WOW 131 cars now that’s impressive !!!

Okay onto the serious bit. Due to the high volume of cars tuning up I have had to put my Work head on and discuss this event with my boss. As the traffic unit with the responsibility for the start area and initial few miles we have had to get involved.

Before those of you who don't know me jump up and down we will be doing this from a very low key approach, however we will be there not only to drool over the cars but to ensure that its runs safely and smoothly.

I would ask that you help me and my colleagues if we direct you or ask for you to reposition your vehicle. We are not going to get heavy or anything silly but by helping us we in return can ensure the smooth running of this event and can therefore input feedback into the food chain for future events.

I will be visiting the start point later tonight to check for any unseen problems and then running the route myself. I have already found one problem which I have discussed with Hughsie and that is there is no right turn allowed from Southampton Row into Theobald’s Road so an amendment needs to be made there.

Please let’s be sensible with this event as it is the largest so far, so that future events do not attract attention from unwanted parties well above the humble PC rank.

Any feed back that you want to give please let me know. Lee.

I've added Lambo's comments from the other thread, don't say you wern't warned !!

so to avoid the road-block waiting for me at Twickenham Bridge I'll be coming in from Holland Saturday afternoon - oops!

PS - dontcha just hate being misunderstood - I said "Barsteward" (as in "Barsteward, I said Shaken and not Shhhtirred".)!

All sensible stuff IMO. Let's just enjoy ourselves, behave sensibly and [maybe] earn some brownie points
