Hello fellow piston heads last nights tunnel run was out of this world, i tagged along with the two ferrari 430's in my prodrive subaru. it was pant wetting from the moment we set off from thurrock services, we got lost from the out set but with cunning map reading we caught up the pack i just hope there were no silent cameras about. The Tunnels were brilliant every car sounded sweet i thought my car was loud. Then the Chill out at the dome. There was some excellant driving about.
WHENS THE NEXT ONE!
also i got lots of video footage but you can see the number plates i dont want to put it on in case it incriminates someone, does anyone know?

Hi lorraine
Ive just become a member and then they cancel the tunnel runs, but i completly understand, if it wasnt controlled god knows what would happen. you would have every boy racer in the land and you dont want that. the last thing i want to do is spoil it for the veterans. So ill just have to wait to be invited or sworn in but that could take years. But what a brilliant experiance one i will always remember, even if thats the only one i go one, top marks to the organisers.

Great attitude Dan.
Like I said to someone else on another thread - you are one of the lucky ones who has experienced the thrill of tunnel running.
Glad you enjoyed it.

Hi there Dan i've just joined the PistonHeads faurm and live in the London area. It was great to find like minded people in my area that are truely into their cars and are ,what seems, not your archetypal boy racer who puts a performance back box on their car and are claiming B.H.P gains of 200hp !!!!. BUT on reading a little further into the faurm what's this i hear that the `London Lodge` of PistonHeads is no more. PLEASE explain because after reading what you had said about your recent meet it truely sounds like the stuff dreams are made of !?!

yea i know john i have been a member of a couple of scooby clubs but there just full of scoobies, once you seen 1, seen em all. it was just great to find a group of mature enthusiasts who do organised events with all sorts of motors. the word has got out though john and people are talking. so now they have stopped it. you have to wait to be invited which could take years.

That's taking it to the extreme - don't you think?

Maybe posting more positive posts and attending a few other events to get your face known may help...
