Righty ho. Following on from L100NYY's thread on GG, how about some Sunday Meets at the new Goodwood Breakfast Club, first Sunday of every Month (bar Sep due to the Revival). Different themes for each one but all are welcome and if your car fits the theme you may get to park it in front of the Vitra Cafe. It's open to all and not just GRRC members either.

For 2006 Goodwood are delighted to launch the Breakfast Club, an organisation created specifically for those who appreciate a fabulous breakfast of a Sunday morning, savoured after an inspiring drive on some of Britain’s most wonderful roads. Goodwood is set in the middle of very beautiful countryside and as a road trip destination it’s hard to beat. Furthermore, Goodwood’s organic farm is the largest of its kind in Europe. Add Goodwood Motor Circuit’s sumptuous Vitra Café into the mix serving our own organic home reared food, and the combination is perfect for the best of Sunday morning jaunts.

The Breakfast Club is open from 09:00 to 1pm on the first Sunday of every month from 5 March through to 1 October 2006 (except September). Each Sunday will be themed, with the right cars parked outside the Vitra Café situated in the Old Control Tower. All are welcome, just bring your classic or your modern and don’t forget your appetite!

Dates should be going into the PH Calender shortly so add your name in there if your planning to attend so we can see who it going. I reckon a Le Mans warm up breakfast on 2nd July is a must for anyone also going to L.M 2006.

Sounds like a cracking idea, although looking at the themes I reckon I'd have more chance of getting my wifes rather nice Alfa Romeo Spider 3.0 V6 parked-up outside than the Griff 500. What catagory does that fall in? Rich...

p.s. What's L100NYY's thread on GG about?

Well, I would have thought that the Griff would fit into the following:
Classic Sports Car ..... Well, I think its a classic
Pre-War Car ............ It was built before the wars in the Middle East
Supercars .............. Its just super baby!
Classic British Cars ... Well d'uh
American ............... Its got a "yank" engine in it

Does any of it help??

A brilliant initiative - great roads down there and a decent (hopefully?!) fill-up

The food in the cafe is excellent .... apparently other interesting cars are welcome but will be parked elsewhere.

Better than in the marquee at the Revival then 4 of us sat down last year for the 'Full-English', unfortunately it was served by foreign students who didn't have a clue so some came with sausage, some with bacon, some with both. A few got toast others didn't, oh and I'm not sure what happened to the fried eggs but they came on a separate plate! Rich...
