A couple of names sound remarkably familiar.

ha, thought that had gone offline, it was another event in a different format & was organised by someone else. Great day out though!

I remember it well: the Cerbera showing the normally aspirated cars the way to do it.

Did you only get half a dozen runs each?

erm, no, more than that I think, about 8 or 9 each but in the afternoon it was sprinting around a course and from memory a little bit like go carting in real cars. Good fun but my 348 needed a respray afterwards.

Ouch! More than 1 car on track in a sprint?

So VMAX originated from an organised Porsche event? Some things never change!

There's me thinking it was all your idea!

You'll find at the time I was much too involved in much more important things than playing with cars at Brunters.........not!

Not quite. Some of us did substanitally more than that.

Plus about 10 laps of tyre shredding action on the short circuit.

As a note, a while ago I went through the VMAX forum and gave the threads that listed results "FAQ status". Making them easier to find.

daz,

Good to hear you're going on Sunday. I saw this thread but results only start at VMAX IV?

Where is the short circuit? Presumably it's a coned area?

VMAX III and the earlier ones happened before we had a VMAX forum on PH so I'm not sure whereabouts on PH we posted details.

Ref the short circuit. Turn to the right through the little chicane section instead of taking the blind 45 degree left to our starting/ratburger van point.
