Dropped the Exige off this morning at the main dealers for some warranty work to the rear suspension and the muppets have just called to say they have ordered the wrong parts and I cant have the car back until Monday.
Not best pleased.
Fortunately the old man has come to the rescue and offered me the 456 for the day so going in that instead. Not as much fun in the corners though.

First man ever to cry over the news that a Ferrari V12 will be going instead of a 4 cylinder Toyota Engine![]()
Sorry mate. Have to wait until next time.
Yeah is a shame, it might mean I'm the only Lotus representative there on the day...
Eh?
Lotus Type 116

I did manage 175 last time before my water pump went south!!! I was hoping to be nearer 180 I wasn't running on Super Unleaded last time and I was thinking about an petrol additive but not sure what to try - any suggestions on what and from where? Plus I was still running tentative as it was my first time!!!

Ian - Optimax, unless you have a Tescos near you that sells the new 99 Octane at a very reasonable 92p/L .... then
Halfords do an Octane booster by NOS which will give you a claimed "up to 3 octane ratings increase". Don't go for the other bottle though that says "for race use only" - that gives up to 6 ratings more. Don't want to be responsible for your valves going south after thrashing it on the equivalent of 105 Octane all day!
see you there.
