best places to visit on way back from nurburgring ??

any suggestions..?
needs to be reasonable en-route, as we're only going for 4 days (2 days at the 'ring, two days travelling back), but we'd like to visit somewhere nice....

If you take the E40 back to France then you'll pass near to Spa in Belgium....maybe worth a stop-off if you want to sight-see that track.

was thinking of somewhere less motorsporty... as the nurburgring is my part of the trip.. girlfriend wants the other two days for 'normal' holiday :-)
