isle of man weekend. 5th of august

i am organising a trip to the isle of man for august this year. it will be open to all performance cars so if your interested add you name to the list.

we will be getting a ferry accross from liverpool to douglas early saturday morning and coming back late monday afternoon.

i initially looked at hotels and b&bs but alot are already booked or are low on rooms so we will be camping over there which i think will be more fun and is alot cheaper at only £9.50 per night.

the cheapest ferry i have found so far is £126 return but have a freind who is trying to get us group discount if we can get 10 cars or more.

overall it will be a good weekend with lots of driving round the local roads, lots of drinking and a chance to meet like minded people.

been the last 3 years to IOM with the Chris the guy that organises TOTB, scoobyshootout etc, maybe worth looking at that weekend if you can change the dates, around 30 or so other sporty UK cars go for the unlimited speeds and mountain pass. They also hire Jerby airfield for the weekend, where you can do as many 1/4 miles runs as you wish and drive as quick as you like around the twisty return track for £20.

Been to the same B&B which is recommended, great breakfast and rooms for £20 per night

when is this other run over there?

ive done it for august as im going to lemans in june so wanted to leave a month in between to allow my finances to recover
