Hey up all,

Are there any plans/goings on for BTAP-esque name badges for PistonFest? This will be a good opportunity to put faces to names (or for you guys to run a mile if you spot my name ) and I hate that frustrating thought when, back in internet land, you find that you were standing next to someone who you regularly talk with on 'tinternet.

Thanks
Tony

I was thinking about having my name and P.H name on my PF t-shirt but this would only help if the weather is o.k as i wont go round with a t-shirt on if its freezing cold, plus 3 days wearing the same t-shirt is probably not a good idea.
Mind you..........i fully expect people to guess who i am at the sight of me...........i look exactly like the thunderbirds character i'm named after (just think bald head and bushy eyebrows)

I seem to remember wandering around the 1st PF with Psychologist on a T shirt..

Suspect it might need to be on a fleece though this time around. Looks a little chilly out there now..

Tony, far be it for me to tell you how to do your job, but you do know there's a special Pistonfest area don't you?

Badges of some sort are a good idea IMO. Having said that, being tallish and ginger I'm usually easy enough to avoid...

IMHO it's a bad idea. Everyone walking around with name badges on. We'll look like conference delegates. If you want to know who I am just ask me.

Well, I've sorted out mine:

I've got my PistonFest hoodie, and I'm going to pop my login name in small on the front, and across the back.

That should do it

Plus it won't fall off when pished...hic

I've got my name printed on a piece of paper to put in my windscreen. Other than that, people are welcome to ask who I am (in fact I hope someone does). Looking forward to it.

hehe, ah the irony I honestly looked for a PF forum and couldn't find it. Swore blind there was one but couldn't find it at all. Of course, it never occured to me that I wasn't viewing all the forums! (if there was a smack self on head smiley, I'd use it right now!)

Roll of masking tape and a black pen...cracking idea...if there's one way to get to meet people it's to walk round with one of them. And I want to know who you all are, so when you see a drunk guy wobbling around with some masking tape and a marker pen...it's me!

Now, I'm off to post a TVR question in the Porsche forum...

You'll be easy to spot anyway - the bloke with the woman repelling crater growing on his face!

I'm still on for a bet it will pop up at PF!!
