Guys & girls,
My thanks go out to you for turning up in force yesterday.
Whats a great day! despite Andy & I chargrilling we both had a great time. Andy also sends his thanks to you guys for being so supportive & responsible on the track.
Thanks to those of you who kindly gave rides to my uncle & cousin, MarkB, I dont think Toby has ever experienced "force" as he put it, like that although he was a lovely shade of green when he got out of Jon's GT2. Joust, jamie is still being sick
I think our efforts on the noise front didn't go unnoticed & Dave the owner was pleased with the turnout & our responsible behaviour whilst at the venue. Thx Daz for your parting comment, jolly polite indeed.
All in all another good old jolly in the countryside.
an incredible performance by the Ruf GT2 in such conditions, 192 truly stunning indeed.
On a cold day, a sure 200mph mobile.
I shall write more later but I'm just off to do some work on my abs

Craig,
Glad I gave Jamie something to remember, and really really sorry I missed out on giving Toby a ride as well. It seems that the fuel pump may "just be like that" as another owner's did exactly the same yesterday and he was just driving around, if that's the case I'll be gutted I went.
Fixed the intercooler (just a broken joint at the fuse) as well so it would have been in fine form.
Next time matey, next time
Thanks again!
J

my first time and thanks to Maff for telling me about it.
very good event and well organised. top marks all round. and to hear and see all those cars being driven for what they were built for was a good thing.
I hope i can make another one, but i think i need a lower temperature day. 164 isnt quite what i was hoping for and it would not go any faster.

Think yourself lucky, I was there with, on paper, 120bhp (yes, 1/3rd more...) than my stock M12 and I managed 16mph slower. I could witter on about lack of fans, fuel pumps and other such excuses, but the fact was it was sodding hot, and siad tutonic cars had the legs on a lot of us.
Although I take some small conssserrrrlaaaation that a beetle decided the heat deserved a bypassing of the intercooler in classic Noblesque mode to level the England vs. Germany score on nil pount all
