Vintage & Classic at Turweston Sept 17th - Hotels etc
Discussion
Never been to one of these before, but it looks like fun. Rover P6 Club National Rally event - with many other marques present also.
Having no knowledge of the area, I wonder if anyone can suggest a few pleasant locations inside 20 mins travel so we can stop over on the Saturday. Noticed a few hotels in Banbury / Towcester which say "£40" prpnb&b, but when you're hooked it seems to shoot up to the £100 mark.

WHAT a marvellous day
No extraneous tripe like fair ground rides and those food and Drinks wagons - just local people making it work for real value for money. Lots of vintage cars and bikes; plus a load of old planes flying in & out at will.
Surreal, Unique and fabulous!
NEXT year I am going to try and get the lads with the Merlin and Griffon engines to make an apppearance. It is to a car gathering like Deep Purple showing up at a local Battle of the Bands: Mindblowing, but after all, they're supposed to be good, aint they....
