A big thankyou to everyone who turned out for this today, and apologies to anyone who found the maps and directions a little less than crystal clear (blame my other half for those!)
Thanks to Ian and Lynn for the surprise birthday cake (but not for letting on how old I am LOL), and thanks to everyone for the best wishes.
Here's a few photos we took. If anyone has any more, feel free to add them here.

Dear "Chateau Runners"
Well.... what a great day out!! We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and got back home safe n sound!!
It was nice to meet you all and see such a FANTASTIC collection of cars!
We will keep you all posted as to when the next trip will be - but most people expressed the option of an over night stay in the Chateau next time, sounds good to me (at least the drivers will be able to sample the local vino!!).
Stay shiny side up
Ian & Lynn (Red Countach QV)
P.S Pics to follow shortly

Many thanks to all involved with the organisation for the Chateau Run. I hope I did not spoil it to much with my inability to follow the directions and left you all waiting for me, I could blame it on the French road signs or getting adjusted to the other side of the road, but I won`t.
The pics are great, along with the cars and the people who drove them, it was a pleasure to be with you all. The food was lovelly and the service was first class. Thanks to all once more.

please tell me how to post pics
Hi Mike,
You need to UPLOAD your pics to to a `hosting site`. I use www.photobucket.com
there are others, goggle search?
It can be a bit long winded the fisrt time you use it but it can be useful.
Good Luck
Dave

Blimey, thats pretty darn quick on the photo posting front!
Thanks to all from Matt and Me for a truly excellent day out!
Even though I had a 101f temp and felt like pooh having spent the last 2 days laid up in bed, I was not going to miss it for the world. Brilliant fun.
The BiB escapade just made it even more of a complete day! (thankfully not getting busted though!)
Will get the video and pics sorted tomorrow.
Thanks again to you guys for all your great efforts with the maps and planning.
Looking forward to the next one.
Greg and Matt.

Many thanks to Lisa (Happy 30th(!) - hope the cake didn't get too squashed or too cooked!) and Derek and Ian for coming up with and supporting the plan! A superb use of a Saturday in August - the only disappointment for me was missing the coast road run (me, Lambo "Nigel", Gold Tivver, M3 Rob + FQ430 thought you were all going off the motorway to a mass-nick-the-Brit session by the BiB so we bottled it and went straight to the tunnel terminal (Hey, this is a twist - isn't it usually the French who bottle it!)
I was thinking it would be cool to know the combined list price and bhp of the cars today - any math majors out there?!
BTW, the Chateau called earlier asking whether we'd see their ginger cat - please check your engine bays for any purring noises!

Hi Mike, if your pictures aren't hosted, the links won't work, you need to upload your pics to something like www.photobucket.com , then you can use the url off each picture to post them on here

Well done to Lisa, Derek Ian for organising a grand day out.
