Posted this elsewhere on this forum but it seems to have disappeared!

Anyway, I'm after a navigator for the Guild of Motor Endurance Rally in September - 15th-23rd.

For full event details check out there site:

www.guildofmotorendurance.co.uk/

Starts near Bordeaux, goes throgh the Pyrenees and all through the mountains of northern Spain. 5 day event plus 2 days travel either side. Event is for kit cars and low production cars like Lotus and Caterham.

My car is a 300bhp Stylus (like a Fisher Fury / Phoenix).

Rally is an endurance event - not all out speed. More about accurate navigating than balls out driving - though we don't hang about

Navigator needs to have good mental arithmatic and be able to read in a car without getting sick!! Mpas are not used - it's done with proper tulip diagrams and Brantz timing gear. Experience not necessary - but you'll have to come down to Sussex for a days training nearer the time.

Cost is £625 per person - which covers 5 days B&B and all event organisation - awards dinner and awards!

Add the same again to share the cost of the ferry, hotels before and after and fuel. Car is competely my resposibility.

Please note this is for navigating only - no driving.

This is a very well run event - they've been going for 10 years - no boy racers in supercars, mostly 30-60 year olds in small fast cars - great fun and very friendly.
