A few MINI owners are travelling down to the Spa GP, then on to the Frankfurt motorshow the for some fun at the ring
We are looking to sticker up the cars with some pretty cool graphics but strugglin what to pick.
I had thought names on windows, numbers on the side a few PH Stickers and some other graphic maybe above rear wheel arch which is still under debate!
any advise much appreciated.

s on yer chips but I wouldnt sticker up in Germany if I were you!gumballer said:
Various car events have made it nigh on impossible to drive round most of europe in stickered cars without causing un wanted interest from the law. France, Germany and Spain are not good for stickers. but if you go discreet you will be fine in sure, just avoid numbers.
Having recently driven back from Hamburg on the FB5K Viking Tour I can completely concur with your comments. The Politzi were extremely over zealous. i.e. 3 police cars outside the hotel in the evening and then again in the morning. Three of us set off together and stuck religiously to the speed limits as we were tailed by a number of different unmarked and marked police cars for our entire drive to the Dutch border. We got pulled and accused of "racing" because there were three UK cars together. I would recommend sticking to the speed limits where they are in place (one of our group got fined €775 after missing it had gone from unlimited to 100km/h), I would also recommend not advertising the fact you are in anyway a group of car enthusiasts as the Gumball/Cannonball type races have given all UK car nuts a bad name.

Everybody heard about the Gumball. That includes Joe Public who can't distinguish the difference and want to do the right thing and alert the police to the crazy gang of speed killers taking over their roads. Even before the Macedonian accident the German authorities had decided they'd had enough.
On the FB5K Viking Tour we were unreasonably pestered, despite being on best behaviour the whole time. We didn't even have visible stickers so I would suggest they don't make a difference. Stay legal though and avoid numbers. The FB5K has visited ten countries in the last month and everywhere but Germany has been perfectly fine. We don't take the piss though.
