Thought some of you guys might be interested in this. Its an event I've organised in the past, but I'm not this year. Still well worth advertising though, as all the cash goes to charity and you can get a full days driving for £50....... My VXT should be there, be good to get some others and meet a few characters. The car day will be run just like a normal trackday with marshalls, medical cover (inc a SAR Helicopter!!) and strict overtaking rules.... If you don't want to track, come along anyway, chuck a couple of quid in the charity bucket and chew the fat with the other petrolheads

RAF Valley Charity Airfield Trackday 2007.

OK, after a few ifs and buts and fall-outs its on, for deffo.

Its a full weekend this year with bikes on Sat 01 Sep 07 and cars on Sun 02 Sep 07.

Basic jist is turn the airfield into a one way, fully marshalled circuit (hence the trackday theme!!) There will be a paddock for social and show cars, food and other stuff is organised! Event is fully authorised, insured and properly marshalled by the RAFMSA.

Charge peeps £50 to ride / drive the full day. Passengers are welcome but will be subject to a small extra charge (charity peeps!!)

Every penny goes to charity (N Wales Air Ambulance and Riders For Health).

Deffo worth an attempt at a weekend social. There is a number of good campsites in the local village. The day is open to everyone, you don't have to be in, or know someone on the military. Hence the pre booking thing. There will be no entries accepted on the day (unless you are in the military where clearance will be easier to obtain).

RAF Valley is on Anglesey. Distance should not be a factor in raising money for charity, meeting new friends and having a larf. A real prospect for a NW owners club meet (whatever you drive).

For all those wishing to book this event the numbers to call are:

Bookings: Dave on 01407 762241 Ext 7319
General enquiries: Jake on 01407 762241 Ext 7691

Circuit will be approx 2.25 miles and looks a bit like Snett with a few more corners...

Hope to see you there!

Cheers
