There's nothing wrong with Candy, and there's nothing wrong with Runs,

however putting the two together can cause a few problems

also I think a dim view is taken of alledgedly dropping their "runners" in the deep mire with the police to escape their own offences on here!!

Ax far as i am aware, the main was cancelled due to problems with the German police and the last e mail i had from Gary was inviteing me on a weekend to Amsterdam, which was more about the Candy than the run so to speak....

But i don't know weather the Amsterdam weekend went ahead or not????

This all very cryptic...anyone got some meat to put on the bones? What did the runs organisers do exactly...on here and on their run?

1st tunnel run, a good(ish) night followed by a good(ish) time in Spearmint Rhino.
2nd tunnel run, an ok night, short run with a LOT of people getting fined due to Chelsea bridge being no stopping on a friday(organisational f'k up)
3rd tunnel run + dawn run/hog roast, didnt happen
Paris tunnel run, didnt happen
European Candyrun, didnt happen
Amsterdam weekender(substitute for the above), didnt happen
Various other car and girl related events and photo things, didnt happen

There seem to be differing opinions on when the European run will be moved to, with some saying they have been informed that it will happen in October, and others saying May 2008, but what will actually happen, who knows?

I am sure there are several(read loads) people that have helped the organisers out in several different ways that are still to be paid, including several people that had paid for the run and haven't had their money back due to the event not happening.

and not to mention the one PHr whose details were given to the police as a driver of a recognisable car by the Organisers when in fact the photo was of said organisers car (alledgedly)

If you are interested in a run, rather than sweeties then there is a 'fur'y thing happening to the big bridge in France and back. You will have a 'ball' but it wont quite be '5000' kilometres .
