I am pleased to announce the details of the trip out to the Imperial War Museum Duxford on the 30th September. For those that have never been it is a great place to visit and we have the added bonus of a discounted entry fee and parking within the museum confines with three other car clubs.

If you need more details see here:

The entry is NOT via the normal entrance (by the Spitfire). As a club we can get in from 10.00 via the crash gate opposite the Citroen garage. If you approach from the Royston side the gate is on your right and the garage on your left but it is far safer to go past this, go up to and around the roundabout over the M11 and back past the main entrance and the guardhouse entrance to the crash gate.

The fee is £9.95 and is payable at the booths once you are inside the gate. You MUST be displaying a TVR car club sticker to indicate you are members. If you are not a member please contact me before going as we have a work around. If you turn up on spec without indication of membership I cannot guarantee you entrance. They will allow ‘normal’ cars in via this route providing they can demonstrate they are with the club or a club member.

Once inside there will be people to direct you until you see me in an orange vest. Depending on numbers the space we have allocated could be a little snug so please be patient and allow me to organise your parking this time.

I will of course be in there early to set up so I will need a volunteer to lead a convoy up from the George IV. I suggest meeting up at 9.00 for 9.30 leave.

Last thing, I do need some indication of numbers on this one so could you please confirm if you are going please. You can do this either by email to me or by adding your name to either of the forum threads on the TVRCC events and meetings page or on the PistonHeads equivalent.

Hope to see you there.
