Well we're all ready for tenting now at PF03...

My wife got me the EuroHike Avon for my birthday and we've used today's hot weather to have a trial erection (so to speak) in private to save any embarrassment @ PF.

Well I can report back that (amazingly) no row or divorce through the 45min proceedings and it's actually a really nice tent...

Now just waiting for the sunshine in 2 weeks!!

45 minutes, sounds like a house!

I bought a tent this week and the outdoor type blokey salesman said it would only take 10 minutes to put up.

Um, did exactly the same thing, took about 30 minutes to put it up.

I wonder how many other Ph'ers have been struggling with their erections this weekend?

I dug out my old tent and checked it over - it still looks like a large purple tit, but seems waterproof enough, and only needed about a metre of duck tape to seal the holes in the base

tents are definatly cheaper these days. two years ago brought a 4 manner with a porch, couldnt afford one with a garage, and it was 30 quid bargain.
And it can be erected in ten mins now im well practised.
