Let's pay our respects.

As you may or may not have heard, sadly one of our WEC members, Dan Woodhouse, passed away on Saturday. He was out driving his Westfield when his car left the road and hit a tree. Dan, 34, from Worcester, will be missed frown. Our hearts go out to his friends and family.

To pay our respects, Malc and I have organised a drive-past in his memory, for all Westfield and 7-type cars.

We will meet at 11am on 1st December at Worcester Rugby Football Club (he was a fan of the Warriors) which can be found here:

When you arrive, turn left into the East Stand car park- hopefully Malc and I will already be there. Look out for a green Megabird.

When everyone has arrived, we shall turn left out of the club, then turn left at the T-junction onto the A38 heading towards Fernhill Heath, and then head back down into Worcester on the Droitwich Road/A38. We will then drive past the Race Course and follow the road round to the Cathedral. Then turn left at the traffic lights onto City Walls Road which goes past the back of the Vue Cinema (be careful of the speed camera). At the next roundabout we will turn right and pass St. Martin's Gate Car Park, at the roundabout after that turn left, then turn right at the next set of traffic lights. Go straight over at the mini roundabout, and carry on up Tolladine Road (under some nice bridges) and work our way out to the A422. We'll follow that road to Flyford Flavell, and then turn right to head towards Abbots Morton, then onto Dunnington crossroads. We'll then go left towards Alcester and pass Ragley Hall, and at the next roundabout, we'll turn right onto the A435. At the next island, there is a Little Chef where we could stop for lunch... We'll then go up to Stratford on the A46, then back on the B439 to Evesham and head back to the Club on the A44 for about 4pm, time dependant on traffic.

It is of course weather dependent, but please remember, we're not out to drive fast, it's just a nice drive out to pay our respects.

If anyone wants these directions in a more methodical order, please let me know.

We need a couple of drivers at the back and in the middle to know where they're going in case anyone gets lost.
