Sunday Service - M20 servcies meet to convoy over
Discussion
Hi all,
On this thread http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0... there has been mention of a convoy over to the Sunday Service. My suggestion is to meet at the M20 Services which we have met at before when running the Kent Run. Time and details to be confirmed, but we could either go very country route or a mixture of motor/dual carriage ways and country.
Put name down if interested:

We could even make an early start and make a bit of a run out of it? The following (or similar) route perhaps:2. .Adam.: Westfield Speedsport

Charing, Headcorn, Biddenden, Tenterden, Appledor, Rye, Hastings, and up the A21 turning off at Lamberhurst?

What time are you planning to meet?
Depends on the general consensus about a run first. At the moment it is relatively light by 7:25; in a couple of weeks will be fine by shortly after 7.On that basis if we decide to do a short run first, then meet at 7 for 7:30 leave, that gives us an hour and a half to get there, and it wont matter if we are slightly late anyway.
If we go the direct route (Leeds - Biddenden - Sissinghurst - Goudhurst - Lamberhurst - Wadhurst) then that's only 45mins drive if its clear.

We could use the first part of the Kent Run down to Rye, always a favorite and i have the itn files for the TOMTOM to. From there we could cut the second part of the run dramatically to arrive at the Sunday Service in good time. If we meet at the services by 7am then we would be at Rye by 8:30, bearing in mind that we will leave later etc etc. Then we could regroup there and then head on to Sunday Service.
