Fancy a trip down a real coal mine.. it makes a change from trackdays!
It's just a local event that I'm doing for The BMW Car Club.. but don't let that stop you it should be a laugh! I have booked a big secure area of the car park.. and it's all free of charge.
No need to call me.. just come if want.. If its fine bring your best machine, there may be prize for the coolest car!
Nick.

Here is the cut n paste..

Open invite to all forum members.
BMW Car Club North East Region visit to the National Mining Musuem near Wakefield. It's our first outing of the year, bring your family and friends everyone is welcome.

Sunday 17th Feb

Free parking in the BMW area - free entry - free guided tour - Followed by Sunday lunch in one of the local pubs.

http://www.ncm.org.uk

Meet at the museum car park at 10am.

Or two of the en-route rendezvous..

Wickes car park, Chesterfield, 8.30am
Ferrybridge Services car park, M62 J33, 9.00am

The club magazine says there is a rendevous at M62 J37 (Goole & Howden) at 9.40 am.. this is wrong, Andy thinks everywhere in Yorkshire is only 20 minutes away from each other.. meet us at Ferrybridge instead!

See you there,

Thanks Nick,

I'll be bringing my family. Wev'e wanted to visit the mine for sometime. Apparently a trip down the old workings is quite a sight.

Just one thing though, you all have to promise not to crack any jokes about long lost British industry!

Many thanks and looking forward to picking up the prize for coolest motor... You may aswell hand it over now!

Thanks
Graham
