Whilst sitting here reading 'VMax' I was thinking....No it isn't.

It should be...VMax 1.6miles. This is according to the distance travelled
before the speed traps.

Legend has it that what might be termed The Vmax Approach has, over the years, seen it's fair share of near true/absolute Vmaxes but I wouldn't know anything about that. Officer. Just tales, you see?

I once got a ride to Vmax in a certain silver Aston, we went faster en route than on the runway. It did 177mph on the runway yikes

I can tell a story (but I won't, obviously) of old, that conforms to this sort of skullduggery, and its most certainly the case en route for a few hehe

However, did I ever tell you about the VMax Craig organised in Germany (you know, that one), where whilst I was travelling up the Autobahn to it, I wound the 316 off the clock (certifed 150+ at least) yet could only muster 136 (or 140 in that lane) up the (german) runway ... miffed was an apt word...

Who cares anyway, VMax (for me) is all about noticing your passenger side window needs cleaning biggrin ...

I managed to hit vmax on almost every run frown Also got a nice certificate from a policeman on my way to vmax calibrating my speedo, which was very kind of him...

I pretty much hit Vmax to within just a few mph. To be honest, I don't want to go any faster. One blowout or faulty brakes or anything and it's game over.

See y'all soon biggrin

I`ll never get close at Brunters unless I bring down the 6th gear ratio to something sensible.

It`s deffo on the to do list, together with some wider rubber to cope with the power.

I remember a certain red SL owner being surprised at the accuracy of his speedo through the traps, when asked why, it was because he'd seen 20.5 leptons en route and thought it must have been an over-read!
