I am amazed, I have not found a LE MANS CLASSIC thread on PH! (apologies it there is one and I am just confusing things). My son booked tickets and camping at Maison Blanche months ago (he is doing the boring diesel thing in June too) ... I have just booked NEWHAVEN-DIEPPE out Friday 7.00am (yawn) back Monday morning. Travelling south thursday evening in TVR Griffith. Who else is going? Which crossing & route? I know Christian in his Austin-Healey 100 and Gilles in his Dino will be whizzing from Paris on Saturday morning, who else from UK?

There are a few threads relating to the classic somewhere.
See you on MB in July, you wont miss us as there about 70 of us attending this year, so MB might be a bit noisy from those lovely V8's.

Thanks Andy. I am really happy that I have picked a "V8" campsite, we should feel at home, and I just luuuurve Cobras, real or replica. Means I may just ogle around the campsite!

Hi Johnzo, I've been looking for a Classic Le Mans thread too. Am going via the tunnel ealy Friday back Monday in my Z3 2.8 and camping (!!!) at Karting Nord. As I've not been to Le Mans for 20 years, haven't a clue where this is - probably near Tours I suspect . . .Be great to meet up with other PH'ers. Do we keep in touch via this or e-mail?

I recon we keep this thread going. If you are Chunnel Running Friday morning, then maybe meet near Rouen and whizz the last few k's in convoy? May be complicated as I am meeting some Parisian work-mates, one in an Austin-Healey, one in Ferrari Dino ... anyhows, lets see who joins this thread and is travelling (but after starting this thread, I found the other one on the Le Mans forum, whoops!)

Seems like the best bet Johnzo. I'll mention this thread on some of the others and hopefully we can co-ordinate, as there are enough of us going, but it seems all independently.
