Chaps,

Its very simple I am planning a road trip in search for the best driving roads in the World. I am not sure if many of you remember the Topgear epersode where they went in search of this in the Alps in Green GT3 RS, Gallardo Superlaggera & V8 Vantage N24.

Route (Saturday 24th May - Thurs 29th May)
London – Paris
Paris – Clermont-Ferrand
Clermont-Ferrand – Bedoin
Bedoin – Val d’Isère
Val d’Isère – Dijon
Dijon – London

The route will take in, Paris, the drive to the top of a volcano summit, taking in all the twisty roads in the Gorge de l’Ardeche, teh climb up Mont-Ventoux, which is 2,000 meters above sea level, the Grand St Bernard Pass and Lake Geneva, do I need to say any more!!

So you've got the route, the dates, all you need to do is book the time off work and come along.

Cheers

Wayne

I am going in my Ferrari F430 Spider and a

Remember it? I've seen it do many times I've stopped watching Dave.

Great idea for a holiday and a lot of us will do it at some point, but is there any particular reason why you're not actually including the route that the show (and many other people) conclude is actually the best - Davos-Stelvio?

Or even the route Napoleon down to Grasse?

What a great idea for a road trip - I hope you'll do the honourable thing and present your findings with photos when you get back?!

For my part, Having driving to Fort William and then on to Mallaig after reading an Evo article that Henry Catchpole wrote about driving one of the last AM Vanquishes made I'd put forward a strong case for the A82 across Rannoch Moor...

Happy hunting!
