Hi,
I am a professional photographer and I am trying to organize and event to raise some money for a the only children’s hospice in the south west of England.
I am looking to get some owners of Super cars to drive to the hospice, to offer either paid rides in the car, or just photos with the cars. As well as maybe a ride for some of the terminally ill children at the hospice to brighten up their day!
This would also be a great PR /Press event for the charity.
In return for your kindness I would be happy to take a professional photograph of your car.
I also have plans for a charity calendar along the same lines with the super cars, to make a change from the usual naked rugby players (don't worry, you can keep your clothes on!).
If anyone can help can you please email me your details, and details of your car to.
info@evoke.org.uk
Thanks for reading!
Mark

Hi Mark,

Put me down as a tentative based on time/date etc.

I don't come into this particular forum all that often so please PM me when the details are confirmed.

You'll find the TVR bunch would be up for it, so a link in General TVR back to here when you have dates etc would almost certainly have a load of them turn up + search for a chap on here called 'Harsh' - he has a 360 and often goes to similar events and will know those that do too.

Good luck,
Donny

Mines not a supercar (Mercedes SLK280 AMG Sport) but I could be interested. It would be a good excuse to take the lady away for a weekend and also do something for charity. Keep me advised of the date you have in mind.

Hi Mark,

Put me down, it's not quite supercar, more superchav, it's a bright blue 2006 Subaru Sti (the hawkeye'd version) but the kids love it.

Just let me know when mate, if you want I could put your message on Scoobynet? They're a nice bunch.

Thank you everyone for your kind offers of support to this very worthwhile charity event. Not a confirmed date, but how does the 8th of November this year sound to everyone??

I'll put the date in my diary and await confirmation. Unlikely to be able to have the top down in November though. smile

I have a bright blue (Hawkeye) subaru STi prodrive - Not quite a supercar but goes well enough - Let me know if you are interested?. If it was earlier in the year I could have bought the TVR Tuscan, but it doesn't like the cold weather.

Hi all!
I hope you haven't lost interest in this idea! The guys at the hospice are taking a while to sort logistics and dates out. I have a meeting with them on the 14th of this month to tie down a date, I hope to move it to Sept / Oct when its hopefully a bit warmer.
Watch this space and thanks again for all your kind offers of help.

Still interested and would agree Sept/Oct would be better, but happy to do any date.

could be up for this, providing it doesn`t clash with the 14,15, and 16th november which is the classic car show at the nec.
