Brooklands Double-Twelve 28th/29th June
Discussion
Is anyone going along to this (http://www.thedoubletwelve.com) - Starring Lewis Hamilton , Heikki Kovalainen -McClaren Mercedes F1 team , the Legendary Sir Sterling Moss , Mercedes-Benz Silver Arrows Display Team , Concours d`Elegance ect - I'll be there as part of the AC heritage display which will include Ruddspeed Ace's / 1960's 427 S/C Cobra's and 289's etc - if so - come over and say hello

WE'll be there! We've got a stand in the prestige area representing the TVR Car Club so fingers crossed for good weather. This should be a blast as we've heard from the powers that be that Mercedes are clearing out their museum in Stuttgart and are bringing some rare beasts across especially for this weeekend. There are quite a few TVR's in the reserved parking area so come over and say hello!
This is flippin infuriating
I want to go.
But I can find bugger all info on what time it starts and finishes, which events are on Saturday or Sunday - so I can make a qualified decision on which day to attend.
Anyone got any idea of a schedule of activities?
Also - is it all at MBWorld? Or Brooklands? Or both?
So many questions ...... so little answers
I guess I'll need to phone them.

I think the organisers may have missed a bit of a trick with the internet community - the web-site doesn't give much away (http://www.thedoubletwelve.com/).....
I have to be there before 0700hrs
, with gates open to the public at 0730hrs and I'll have to stay on the site until 1900hrs - directions to the car-parks are currently being set up as the event takes place at both Mercedes World and Brooklands - not sure of the format/schedule yet, but have found this:
Competitors will perform a series of driving tests and have their vehicles judged against the exacting criteria of a Concours D’Elegance by a select panel of experts. The tests will take place in thrilling and evocative environments such as the Members’ Banking and the notorious Test Hill of the original Brooklands circuit, as well as on the modern handling circuits at Mercedes-Benz World.
Points awarded for both concours and test performances will be added to give an overall score, ensuring that the overall winner will be the best combination of driver and top-class vehicle.
Past will also meet present as Formula 1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen drive the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 car at intervals during the weekend. Sir Stirling Moss will also be in attendance during the Festival and is expected to please the crowds by returning to the tracks with a historic competition car.
The Festival is guaranteed to be an action-packed weekend of entertainment, with performances from the Mercedes-Benz Silver Arrows Display Team and a Blue Eagles Helicopter Display. The weekend is set to appeal to everyone from motoring and motor sport enthusiasts through to families looking for a special day out.
With cars in attendance to include:
Aston Martin DB4 GT4 Zagato
Austin Healey Sprites “Frogeye”
Lagonda M45 Rapide
Post war Talbot-Lago
Bentley R type Continental
Alfa Romeo 6c1750
Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Alpine Eagle
Sunbeam 3 litre twin cams
Mercedes-Benz SSK
Low Chassis Invicta
Ferrari 250 lusso
Jaguar XK120 lightweight
Bizzarini GT
