motors,beers & views - Sunday 24th August

Not very politically correct I know, but this will be the 5th year that we have combined a classic and sports car gathering with a Beer festival and family day. Held in the picturesque hilltop village of Brill between Oxford and Aylesbury it just has to be worth a visit! It is very informal - just come and go as you please - there is free entry - free parking and a great atmosphere.as well as laser clays, go karts, funfair the odd steam engine picnic on the mound etc.visit www.brillbeerfestival.co.uk to get a flavour. No need to book just turn up. ( although we will reserve a parking area if you let us know you are coming as a group)- What better way to spend a bank holiday Sunday!
Hi, the showground opens from 11.00ish With the bars and attractions open for business from 12.00 noon (I guess most cars ( except the TVR's who always seem to arrive early for some reason )will start arriving from noon onwards - Evening entertainment starts 7.30pm Hope you can make the journey!
Hi all you fellow Piston Heads,
Just a little advance notice about a new show that is in the planning stages for Late September, early October.
If all goes to plan we are hoping to shortly finalise and produce a new action packed Bike and car show in the south East (not a million miles away from london!) at a great venue, for people who love wheels ! 2 or 4, or hopefully both!
Roughly speaking we hope to have:
1. Incredible stunt biking shows from some of Europe's hottest stars!
You need to see what these guys can do with a 'blade to believe it!
2. Drifting sets throughout the day by one of the UK's premier teams.
3. Moto-X Freestyle Action through out the day!
4. Quad Freestyle shows through out the day!
5. Prizes!!! hehehe, you'll have to wait and see!
We are also working really hard on a few "surprises" to add some spice to the mix!
Basically, we love cars, bikes and fun, and when you mix them all up we love it even more, so we really want to create a great family day out, with the chance to see some mind blowing action in the mix. More details to follow, but if all goes to plan we will be really pleased to invite local car clubs (dedicated Marque parking areas to show off in!) and of course FELLOW Pistonheaders, to add some flavor and give everyone the chance to mingle and eye up each other's toys!
At this stage we are also interested in ideas that people have for what might add to the experience (please note that v-max runs etc are gonna be a problem, as is live music as we wanna respect the venue which is great!!!).
Thanks all.

MPH.52 thanks very much for your kind response about the tent, that would indeed be perfectly fine and after a couple of great beers (just a couple...ahem!) bound to be a far wiser bet for me than attempting to weave my way to a B&B somewhere.
Is that a definite yes (are you in a position to ok that?)as if so I will most certainly be making it up there for a hopefully warm and rain free event.

Thanks Mike, I will most probably be aiming for well before midday on the Sunday.
Will I be able to park my pride and joy there (sadly not a Chim, but it is silver (urban grey actually if I 'm honest lol!)) as if it lashes down I might need to seek refuge! I had better start praying for good weather now!
rgds,
