Little Gransden Air & Car Show
Discussion
yet another date for me diary and yet another show that ight hold a fair bit of appeal to PH'ers too!,

will be my first time attending this show this year, looks to be a quality day out for car and plane buffs alike, looks like theres some quality stuff on display going by previous years galleries too!
its located in a fantastic bit of countryside (plenty of nearby hooning roads) between Cambs and Beds, plus theres the added bonus of the CAMRA award winning Chequers public house just down the road in the village too should quality refreshments be required
any interested parties?

Surely this is Gransden Lodge? Location of the first post-war motor race in Britain, 1946? Thought they might at least tie into that.
On a side note, while you are there the Church in Gt. Gransden is worth a visit. There is a stain glass window dedicated to the RCAF pathfinders and it is pretty special. I think the RCAF squadron stationed there took part in the dambusters raid (although I cant be certain). Edit: Really s
t picture, but you can see what I mean: http://www.roll-of-honour.com/Huntingdonshire/Grea...Edited by ukvoyager.info on Monday 11th August 15:55
