Seems like ages since I've been a runner at vmax due to various fiddling with the car but for the next one I should be back with a bang.

I'm strapping on a supercharger to give me a bit more oomph in racing people to the first bend biggrin Should be looking for approx 250bhp when it's all done with about 320bhp/ton.

It won't improve my top speed but will at least mean I get there a damn sight quicker!

I've been thinking too much. Thinking is bad. I'm now looking for 300bhp...

Stage 1 supercharger conversion is complete, was outside on Boxing day finishing it off! Will be mapped in the next week or so but expecting about 220bhp.

Then in a couple of months time the rest of the bits will be strapped on and I can chase 300bhp tongue out

Good going Munch. Don't forget the extra cooling.
Maybe larger rear wheels, cheap way to raise the gearing.

Mark.

Is that an Eaton type PD blower?
Nice jobsmile hope an intercooler is on the parts list for the big push, mine was fully cooled and still gave me intake temp problems at the last Vmax.
Going 427TT for this yearsmile

Yeah it's an Eaton blower, it's only going to stay on there for a few months to test the stage 1 for Courtenay then my new Harrop TVS is going on which is a lot more efficient.

I'll be fitting a pretty effective chargecooler system so intake temperatures should not be a problem at all.

Markbe - Changing the wheels is not really an option as I don't think any larger ones would fit easily. Changing the gearbox final drive ratio may be an easier way of doing it though.
