Recommendations for a new year hoon

I've got a couple of weeks off over Christmas/NY and am thinking of heading off for a 5-7 day hoon into Europe with the Mrs.

I'd love to take on a few of the famous routes/passes but am guessing that most are going to be snowed over?

Does anyone have any good recommendations for European hoons at this time of year?
