Anyone fancy a run down as a group? I'm SW London but happy to meet anywhere.

Apologies if a discussion is already running elsewhere.

I will meet up with you at Clacket lane services if you like, or if you meet nearer your home you could pick me and any others up that fancy meeting on the way. driving

Am in the Surbiton area...

Actually, ignore that. Given how slow my car is, I'd hold up any convoy.

Jay - I thought you were planning something?

Well, by planning, you were going to turn up at a certain point at a time and if people chose to follow...

I'm happy to sort out a meet, the only problem is where are people coming from.

east london near the A2 makes sense, as does south London near the M25...

i'm easy either way really, i live in North london but dont mind driving and sorting something out, it just depends on where works best, i can do one, but not both!

I'm in Putney but will drive anywhere in the London area to meet up.

Harsh, you probably know the best places to head to?

well if we're talking East London, then i suggest Westferry Circus.

we can have a play in the Blackwall tunnel and go straight down the A2...
say meet at 9.30 and leave by 10?

if we want South West London then i would suggest somewhere along the A3 to head M25...A2 etc. or perhaps the car park at Ockham Common?

my preference would be East London, but i can have a chat with Ben to see if he wants to sort out the South West london meet...he lives in Putney too

5-10mins from the station.

Taking this way off topic, I'm considering doing an extension so if you're in the building game...

Hey Garlick wavey

Happy to help if there are any South Westerners needing a guide across London. Ockham may be a little too far out but would make a sensible meeting point for those outside the big smoke.

Otherwise, I'll just turn up at Westferry!

9:00 launch would be perfect from here.

If anyone else in SW wants to get to Westferry, feel free to come down to Keswick Road by 9am (next to East Putney Station) and we'll have ourselves a merry convoy though some choice tunnels biggrin
