Techno Classica Essen

Has anyone been to the show, flying from the UK to Dusseldorf then by train to Essen?

I could do with knowing how easy it is to get around Essen to the exhibition hall - and if anyone has a hotel to recommend, that would be great.

Haven't been to this one but been there from every year from 2000 till 2006 as i didn't live far from the German border.

Everything is really wel signposted at the busstops and all trainstations so it shouldn't be hard to find.

Not sure about the hotels but have a look at the Essen motorshow website perhaps.
