Nurburgring 24hr Camping

Hi

Can anyone recommend a good camp ground around the Nurburgring for the 24hr weekend in May. There looks to be quite a few temporary grounds set up, but not sure which is best to head for.

I have read on another forum, that some may cause access issues for sports cars and are more suited to normal cars, is this true?

Im not aure of the one that we used, but it would of been tough access for a full on sports car (we were in a Focus ST). They basically turn wooded areas into camping. The trip is well worth it, far better than Le Mans.

Mullenbach is superb (details from the ADAC 24 hr web site) - if not a little noisy as they certainly know how to party. The Mullenbach site also allows you the option of walking from the camp site or using the bus that is laid on as part of teh deal. Superb washroom/showers (spotless) and a handy little shop for bread/fruit etc.
I agree - far far better than LM. Starting list has been released - 280 cars!!!!
