Next event?

is there a Vmax event planned for 2009? Where would it be? How do these work? I have done several track days, but would like to try and see how fast I could go.

Just waiting for people to start buying cars so they can shift them all from the car park that is our run off point!

Either that or finding a suitable alternative venue, which is under constant consideration.

Been discussed many times Stu but either the runway is not long enough or the lack of twisties to get back to the start puts people off I think ... plus, even Craig's wooly mammoth wouldn't keep him warm this far north

Just heard from a reliable source that Brunters has cleared the 10,000 cars and the main straight will be available again !!!

Tyres don't make any odds. In fact the rolling resistance is the main thing. You can come out of the last corner going 30mph faster on one run and go through the beam maybe 1 or 2 mph faster.

I had the pulley done at that speed into a slight headwind, but no tune and the standard exhaust. You should better 191mph I'd say

Would be nice if one of these gets sorted, since blowing an engine lat time I turned up to one of these I'm hoping to get at least the same speed bit with less expense next time around!
