CHATEAU RUN 09

Dear All,

I'm pleased to say that the details for Chateau Run 09 are now ready!!

Travelling out on Friday 24th July 2009
Returning on Sunday 26th 2009

The Chateau is: Chateau De Cocove (30 mins for Calais)

You MUST mention the Lamborghini club when booking to get the special rate.
The Package:
2 nights stay in a Classic room in the Chateau
Breakfast on both mornings
Four course evening meal on the Friday
And a five course Gala meal on the Saturday Night (Black Tie and Posh frocks required)
Cost per couple is 418 Euro's (approx £380 ish for two people for two nights half board!)
Room upgrades are available as follows:
Extra of 20.00 Euros per night for a superior double room
Extra of 40.00 Euros per night for a luxe double room
(they have in total 14 classic + 5 superior + 3 luxe rooms)

Travel details:

We are using the Euro Tunnel.
2 ways to book:

Don't forget to make a note of your booking ref number (and take it with you on the day!).

These are the times you need to book:
Going out 07.42 or the 07.50am

Returning 13.42 or the 13.50pm

Sorry! later trains going out can not accommodate all of us, as they are already booked!

Don't forget: On your tunnel booking to say that your car WILL have bicycles on the roof!! This will ensure that you go on the lorry deck which also houses vehicles with low ground clearance!!

When you exit the train in Calais - drive half a mile, and then pull into the petrol station on the left hand side (you can't go wrong here, as you have to drive past this petrol station prior to hitting the French roads). We will re-group / re-fuel prior to the short hop to the Chateau.

We are still looking in to "what to do" on the Saturday during the day. As always, you are welcome to do your own thing, or join in as much as you like - details to follow shortly.
Also, like previous years - you will need to choose your menu for the Friday and Saturday night. This will be done closer to the time of travel, all info and instructions will be emailed to you.

PLEASE PLEASE can you advise me when you have made your booking.

We will be taking the ferry though; as I said previously I can swim but my tunnelling skills are limited

However.... being an LCUK member and proud owner of a Lambo - the choice is easy!!!!

After missing last years trip have got things sorted for this one. Room booked at the chateau and looking forward to a great weekend. The original run was 1 day then it moved up to a weekend and now 3 days Fantastic!! Maybe it will morph into a week in the not so distant future
