Cars needed for Dawlish Carnival show in August

As many ‘locals’ will know, Dawlish has a Carnival Week in August, which includes the Red Arrows Display Team on the Thursday and the Carnival Procession, which I think is on the Friday this year. Money raised from the week are used to support many local charities.
The Carnival Committee are looking to include a new attraction to the already popular week, and have asked me if it would be possible to arrange a ‘gathering’ of local (or distant for that matter) !! sports/exotic/performance etc car-owners to bring their cars on the first Sunday of the Carnival - the 16th August.
The cars would be displayed on the Lawn in the centre of town, and I have explained that they would need to be roped-off from the public to keep our cars far from prying fingers!!
Cars would be needed from approximately 12am to 5.00 pm on the day - and I am sure I could arrange some sort of ‘prize’ for Best-in-show.
Could anyone who would be willing/interested in bringing their car on the day please indicate their interest and type of car so I can gauge reaction to this initiative and report same to the committee.
