I'm going to do a road trip across Europe around Auguse/September time. Would love to take in Stelvio pass and maybe Ferrari and Pagani factory tours. Also I will be camping all the way cause I'm a tight barsteward lol

Basic route so far is:
Hull
Netherlands
Germany
Switzerland
Italy
South France
Spain.

Any help is appreciated as I don't really know where to go/what to see/where to camp!!

Thanks

how long are you planning to go for?
the reason i ask is because with the number of countries/miles you're looking at it's worth taking your time.

the last thing you want to do is find somewhere really fun and then not be able to enjoy it because you're rushing to get somewhere else.

secondly is your priority great driving roads, good scenary or just visiting the aforementioned countries?

I'm going to save as much as I can before I go so I will be able to spend about 2 months out there hopefully. Be nice to go on the great driving roads but I will be in a Mondeo or something similar so not exactly ideal car for the Stelvio Pass lol. Just want to see as much as I can while I can tbh.

2 months, well in that case there's a lot you can pack in and i see why you want to camp smile

I'd still take on the driving roads though as they also have some great stop off, picture areas, and you'd miss the views from the top of the passes if you didnt.

i'm not hugely au fait with the camping side of it but there are a couple of good websites that can help

http://www.campingcompass.com/
pretty comprehensive

http://www.europe-camping-guide.com/
(use the interactive map)

once you've located a few sites, you can look at the route you want to take,
bear in mind that you wont really want to do more than a couple of hundred miles per day if you're going to enjoy a leisurely holiday.
