Charity Event At Dunsfold Park

PetrolHead Nirvana and Club Scuderia to host ultimate day out

Expect the car park to look like this
Expect the car park to look like this
PH partners Petrolhead Nirvana have been helping to organise the ultimate 'Dads Day Out' and it's all in the name of charity.

The event will be held at Dunsfold Park, the home of the Top Gear test track, where you’ll be able to admire a collection of classic, rare and exotic cars whilst helping out the Children’s Trust.

As you’d expect there will be plenty to keep you entertained, including passenger rides in a Ferrari or Lamborghini around the Top Gear test track in return for a £15 donation to the Children’s Trust.

But that’s not all; there’ll also be a live band, fire engine rides to keep you (and the kids) entertained and a host of interesting stands and stalls to look around.

The event will be run in conjunction with Club Scuderia – The Ferrari Enthusiasts’ Club, so you can be sure to see some interesting and special machinery on display and in the event’s free car park. As there is so much parking space available it’s a great opportunity for PH’ers to enjoy a weekend meet but with lots of other things to do while you are there.

This event will take place on Saturday May 16th from 10am till 4.30pm.

Tickets for the event should be booked in advance through the Children’s Trust website –www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk/dadsdayout

A Family Ticket will set you back just £12, but if you can’t get everyone along entry is £5 for adults and £2 for children.

Remember its all for a good cause, and we look forward to seeing you there.

No not at all, the rides are certainly for adults.
(apart from the big kids driving them that is!)

We're really looking forward to this event, as you can imagine Dunsfold is not easy to arrange much less getting the chance to do some high speed laps. The figure of 8 is not really an option but we've arranged an alternative layout which include a number of the famous corners without the danger of cars trying to cut across each other scalextric style!

It's worth booking in advance via the charity link to avoid the queues on the day and to make sure you get in...if it's over subscribed then entry will be by ticket only.

Also there are only a limited number of ride slots so try and book those at the same time too
We should have around 70 supercars doing rides but we know from past experience that it's a very popular part of the day so the queues will be worth jumping by booking in advance wink

Sounds great - great sounds too!!

Keep it quiet but remember Genesis and Clapton live very near by and neither has a gig on that day according to their own web sites.....

Have now bought my family ticket and test drive too - a bargain £27 even in these financially challenging times.

Was asked by the Childrens Trust to get a few Ultima to take passenger rides. Got ten of the usual suspects lined up and was then told by CT that Club Scuderia didn't have any slots on track for any others frown Shame.

Have fun all and spend loads of cash it's a great charity!!!!

And make sure the track is full!!
